Judge William Millstone was a recurring character on How to Get Away with Murder. He is the father of Middleton Law Student, Asher Millstone. He is portrayed by John Posey.

Early Life[]
Season 1[]
Judge William Millstone kept journals detailing every day of his life, except for the day he tried David Allen’s case. This leads Asher to suspect his father’s entire career was built on sending an innocent man to the death penalty.
Season 2[]
In early Season Two, William Millstone pressures Asher to take a deal with Prosecutor Emily Sinclair. The Judge already cut a deal protecting himself, which Asher learns about in the season two episode Meet Bonnie. When Asher attempts to talk about William’s own misconduct, William insists he did nothing wrong. In the episode What Did We Do? William Millstone's judicial misconduct is leaked to the press, and he hangs himself.
