Senator Art Trucco is a minor character on How to Get Away with Murder. After having allegedly David Allen's girlfriend murdered, he pinned it on Allen himself. 20 years later, two weeks before he was planned to die from the death penalty, attorney Annalise Keating managed to shine a light on Senator Trucco's dealings which caused the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to get the District Attorney's Office to look into Trucco's dealings and dismiss Allen's death penalty sentence.

Senator Trucco is a racist investor who is somehow linked with David Allen's girlfriend's murder. Senator Trucco's case was judged by Chief Justice who is known for making wrong trials for noble clients. Even though David has retrieved his freedom in the end, Senator Trucco has beaten the charge with Chief Justice's wrong trial.
